President’s Message
Welcome to all
who visit our website! You may already be a member of
the Westside Newcomers Club (WNC), you may have recently
moved to Las Vegas and are looking for a club to join that
will help you "find your way around" in your new city or you
may be contemplating a move to Las Vegas in the future.
Whatever your situation is, WNC has many things to offer
you.
All our members
know how hard it is to move and get settled in a new
location. Not only is there a new city to investigate,
there is also the desire to make new friends and get
involved in activities that satisfy us individually.
WNC offers many activities to choose from. Explore the
"Activity Groups" section
of this website and you will surely find one or more you
feel would be just right for you!
At our monthly
New Member's Coffee, held the
first Wednesday of the month, the Chairs and Co-Chairs of
our various activities are available to tell you about them.
On the second Wednesday of the month, we hold a
Luncheon which includes a program
and our business meeting. It also provides an
opportunity to make new friends. You can find more
information about both in the "Meetings"
section.
I encourage you
to spend a few moments investigating our entire website and
then, when the time is appropriate for you, join us at a New
Member Coffee. Once there, I'm sure you will decide
that WNC is the place for you! Or, if you have viewed
our website and you want to join immediately,
email our VP Membership and she will assist you with
your application.
I invite you to
join WNC, where you will find friendship, fun, and the
answers to many question about Las Vegas! I hope to
