President’s Message
Welcome to the Westside Newcomers Club (WNC) website. Since
you are looking at our website, I assume you are new to Las
Vegas and are looking to meet new friends. If so, you’ve
come to the right place. WNC is a social club for women
founded in 1992. Our purpose is to provide a pleasant and
friendly social environment for newcomers to the Las Vegas
area and to help them establish new friendships. Our
current membership is over 500 wonderful women.
We host a
New Member Coffee
on the first Wednesday of each month in the social hall at
the Desert Spring United Methodist Church, 120 North
Pavilion Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89144. The social part of the
meeting starts at 9:30AM with refreshments provided and an
opportunity to meet the chairs of our various activities.
At 10:00AM an information meeting starts and you have an
opportunity to hear from the various chairs regarding their
activities. We have over twenty-five activities and if you
don’t find your particular interest, we may be able to start

On the second Wednesday of each month
we hold our LUNCHEON/GENERAL
MEETING
at great restaurants and casinos throughout the Las Vegas
area. This is a wonderful opportunity to locate some fun
places to visit again on your own or with the multitude of
friends (even the ones you didn’t know you had) who come to
Las Vegas to visit. Our luncheons always feature
interesting programs and include journalists, entertainers,
TV and radio personalities and, yearly, our Mayor, our
Fashion Show and our Chinese Auction.
Come join us as soon as you can and
start making the friends that enrich your life. I truly
hope that I will have the opportunity to meet you very soon
and that WNC will help make your life is Las Vegas a
fulfilling one.
Since there is nothing so well worth
having as friends, never lose a chance to make
