Thank you for visiting our website. If you are new to Las
Vegas or in need of some support because of a recent change
in circumstances, you’ve come to the right place.
Westside Newcomers Club (WNC) was founded in 1992 by four
women who, like you, were new to the valley. Subsequently,
we have grown to over 500 members.
WNC is strictly a non-profit women’s social organization
with “women” and “social” being the operative words. We
provide friendship and support through a wide array of
activities. With over 30
Special Interest Groups,
there is something for every taste and temperament. If you
of events, you will find that we can keep you engaged almost
every day of the month.
Once a month, on the second Wednesday, we hold a
followed by a luncheon and program for our members and
guests. The locations, such as country clubs, casino
banquet rooms and distinguished restaurants in the area, are
as varied as the entertainment, including local officials
and luminaries that only Las Vegas can provide.
I encourage you to attend our
New Member Coffee,
which is held on the first Wednesday of every month, at 9:15
a.m. at the Grace in the Desert Episcopal Church, in the
community room at 2022 Spring Gate Lane, Las Vegas, 89134.
There you will learn specifics about our Club and, most
importantly, meet many of our members who could very well
come from your hometown. They will have you signed up for
an activity and involved in no time.
As a member, you will receive a monthly newsletter by
e-mail. It contains all of the tools you need to navigate
through our activities for the month, as well as other
useful information. If you decide to join us, you’ll find
a membership application on our
Most of us started out exactly where you are now. Those of
us lucky enough to find WNC have been able to acclimate to
our new surroundings while having a great time and making
many new lasting friendships along the way.
I look forward to meeting you.
